5 of the Best Burgers in Rexburg Idaho
Ever wonder why even the nicest restaurants have their version of a burger? Because burgers are the ultimate menu item. Care to disagree? The Daily Meal presented its findings of 71% of all beef consumed in a restaurant is in the form of a burger.
In this episode of Rexburg Eats, we’re taking a deep dive into the burger industry in the beloved college town of Rexburg Idaho. Like always, the restaurants discussed are not part of a chain company and are unique to Eastern Idaho.

Idaho Burger Grill
The Idaho Burger Grill is a hidden gem in the Rexburg area located inside of Broliums. The next time you restock your Top Ramen collection, head over past the bakery section to check out what’s cookin’.
1. Price: The grill offers $5.99 hamburgers and $6.99 cheeseburgers. Fries and extra toppings can be found on their a la carte menu.
2. Quality/Taste: Each burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and Broliums special bacon aioli. Customers can further customize their burgers with different types of cheese, sauces, grilled mushrooms and onions, and even brisket and pastrami. Keeping with the ‘gourmet burger’ theme, each burger bun has the company’s logo seared into the top.
3. Location: The Idaho Burger Grill is located inside of Broulims grocery store 1.3 miles from the Brigham Young University-Idaho campus.
4. Accommodation: This food stop is nestled between Broulims bakery and ready-made food center. Seating is available upstairs and is frequently used as a homework spot for students. A rentable room also resides in the food court and can be used for parties and meetings.
5. Diversity: This business sticks to what it does best - burgers. The menu stays simple by only serving hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries and chili fries on the menu.

9 Iron Grill
The 9 Iron Grill tends to stay out of public eye and only in the sights of Rexburg golfers. With recent change of ownership, be careful when ordering online - their link took us all the way to Idaho Falls!
1. Price: This burger joint sells hamburgers for $8.00 and cheeseburgers for $8.50 that come with lettuce, tomato, and onion. Fries and other sides are extra.
2. Quality/Taste: Apart from the brioche bun, the rest of the burger is what you would typically expect from a local diner.
3. Location: 9 Iron Grill is located on the Teton Lakes Golf Course, 3.8 miles from campus. Their Google My Business information pulls up as Redd’s Grill, a restaurant in Idaho falls. Be cautious when ordering online.
4. Accommodation: Dine-in guests are permitted by appointment only. Windows face the golf course outside and can be enjoyed any time of the year.
5. Diversity: This restaurant serves a diverse menu including tacos, breakfast, wraps, hot dogs, and fry baskets.

Frescos & Doorza
Frescos and Doorza are two peas in a pod. Frescos is debatably the fanciest restaurant in Rexburg while Doorza prides themselves in being one of the most affordable food providers. Here’s the catch - they share the same kitchen. When Frescos closes, Doorza prepares to open for the night.
1. Price: Frescos sells a cheeseburger and fries for $10.99 while Doorza sells the same for half the price.
2. Quality/Taste: We tried out food truck is hese burgers side by side, and they look almost identical! The overall taste and quality of the Frescos burger was minutely superior, but left us viewing the two burgers as ‘name brand’ and ‘Great Value.’
3. Location: These two restaurants are located right by Wendy’s 2.8 miles from BYU-Idaho campus.
4. Accommodation: While Frescos offers a classy, sit down night out, Doorza only offers delivery. On the plus side, every Doorza delivery is free but may take over an hour.
5. Diversity: Frescos offers a mix of lunch and dinner foods and is known for their flavored lemonades. Doorza serves pizza, sandwiches, and desserts.

T-Rex Burgers
T-Rex Burger is a food truck nestled between Deseret Industries and the Crispy Cone truck and prizes itself on their ‘completely customizable burgers.’
1.Price: A trademark ‘T-Rex Burger’ is priced at $7.00 and includes any and all toppings desired by their customers.
2. Quality/Taste: Although the burger is completely customizable, their pattys and fries come with a distinct ‘season-salt’ flavoring.
3. Location: This food truck can be found right next to crispy cones and Pick me Up, 2.4 miles from campus.
4. Accommodation: Outdoor seating provided, making this burger spot much more popular in the summer.
5. Diversity: T-Rex Burgers sell burgers and fries only.
